PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what information Reputation.blog collects through this website and how it is used. It covers only the functionality actually present on this site: a WordPress website, the corrections and information submission form, and standard server and WordPress operation. This site does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking providers.
Information you provide
When you use the form on the Contact / Corrections page, you provide the information you enter there: your name, email address, company or organization, the page or company concerned, the type of submission, the details you write, and any links to supporting documents you include. We use that information only to review your submission, to contact you about it if needed, and to consider a correction, update, or response for the relevant profile. A submission does not guarantee that the requested change will be published.
Information collected automatically
As with most websites, the web server records standard log information when you visit, such as the pages requested, the time of the request, and technical information about the request. WordPress may also set cookies necessary for the site to function, for example to remember site preferences or to support the administration of the site. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.
Business information in profiles
Company profiles document businesses, brands, and organizations using publicly available and company-provided information, as described in our Methodology. Profiles are about organizations, not about private individuals, and they do not publish private personal contact details. If you believe a profile contains personal information that should not be published, please use the corrections form and explain the concern.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share form submissions with advertisers or analytics providers. Information you submit may be used internally to review and, where supported by evidence, to update a profile. Where a submission leads to a published correction or response, only the corrected profile content is published, not your private contact details.
Retention
Form submissions are retained for as long as needed to review them and to maintain an accurate record of corrections and updates to profiles. Server logs are retained for the period set by the hosting provider’s standard operation.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to correct or delete personal information you submitted through the form, using the same form on the Contact / Corrections page and selecting the appropriate submission type. We will respond to such requests in line with applicable law. Please note that we cannot delete verified, publicly documented facts about an organization from a profile solely because they are unwelcome; corrections are made where the evidence supports them, as set out in our Editorial Standards.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, for example because the site adds new functionality, the updated policy will be published on this page. This policy was last updated in October 2026.
